It is a lubricating oil for molding and shearing, formulated in particular for the lubrication of carbon and stainless steel wire in the forming of springs. It is relatively viscous and very particular, consisting of a complex mixture of: - high molecular weight synthetic esters, with marked viscoelastic properties of resistance to loads; - sulpho-phosphorated antiwear and anticorrosive additives; - an exclusive combination of active sulfur compounds; - antioxidant and antirust additives with high passivating power of metal surfaces, which guarantee long-lasting protection; - very finely dispersed and stabilized colloidal graphite; - a VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) free hydrocarbon solvent, which keeps the product in chemical-physical equilibrium and which, after evaporation, leaves on the metal surfaces a thin lubricating and protective film, strongly adhesive and effective and in any case removable with petroleum solvents. The result is a product that has the following characteristics: - an exceptional anti-welding power and E.P. of resistance to loads, even the heaviest ones, and to Extreme Pressures, obtained from the formulation synergy of the components used, in particular of newly designed wear reducing additives, for surface finishes of maximum brightness; - an excellent hiding-passivating power, for the protection of the machined pieces during subsequent storage.
