During the assembly phase, the gel allows easy positioning, in their own dedicated seat, of gaskets, o-rings, pulleys, tires, etc., thanks to its high lubricating power, which, however, subsequently vanishes following evaporation of the aqueous base fluid. This ensures that the elastomer remains fixed, adhering perfectly to its seat and thus preventing any subsequent dripping.

After use, it tends to dry, leaving the pieces slightly protected by a soft film with slightly passivating properties of corrosion. This film can be removed with a light flow of water.
