It is a complex lubricating mineral oil, designed for the lubrication of guides, slides, tables, surfaces and sliding columns of machine tools. It is obtained by mixing different components and is characterized by a very low coefficient of static friction (that is, when stationary, at start) and, in particular, lower than dynamic (ie moving), to ensure a smooth and uniform progression of wagons and boards, even if subjected to heavy loads. In fact, they slow down, approaching the limit switch, and they come to a stop, for a moment, before resuming the reverse return motion. At this time, if the coefficient of static friction was higher, as it normally does, at the coefficient of dynamic friction, the carriage or the table would object to greater resistance to movement, causing first a longer stop and then a brusque and quicker start. In this way, instead, all the consequent vibration and hopping (stick-slip) phenomena are eliminated which cause a poor degree of finishing of the pieces during mechanical processing. This lubricant also has marked E.P. (Extreme Pressures) to protect the moving mechanical parts against each other in the presence of high specific pressures. It provides: - Excellent anti stick-slip power. - Exceptional anti-wear and E.P. - Good filterability. - Excellent demulsiveness characteristics. - Excellent thermal-oxidative stability.

It is made from a mixture of different components and it is characterized by a very low coefficient of static friction (ie stationary, at start), also lower than the dynamic one (ie in motion), to ensure a regular and uniform progression of the wagons and boards, even if subjected to heavy loads. Those, in fact, slow down when approaching the limit switch and stop, for a moment, before resuming the reverse return motion. In this instant, if the coefficient of static friction would have been higher than the coefficient of dynamic friction, as it usually is the case, the wagons or the board would have opposed a greater resistance to the movement, causing first a longer stop and then a more abrupt and quicker re-start. This way, any successive eventual vibration and hopping (stick-slip) phenomena, which result in a poor surface finish of the pieces during the mechanical processes, are instead eliminated.
