PRO CHAIN R is an anti-rust preservative, which leaves on the treated surfaces a thin, soft, flexible and adhesive film, even at low temperatures. It is made from a mixture of oxidated hydrocarbon from selected petrolatum and iper-basic sulphonated modified with a petroliferous, de-flavoured and denatured solvent. It has a very moderate hydrocarbon odour, easily removable with any petroliferous or chlorine solvent.

It is an antirust fluid, non-dewatering, oil-based, with low odor and temporary. It contains corrosion inhibitors and is designed to protect work pieces made of steel foils. It provides an excellent protection against rust without causing the surfaces to darken or stain. It is recommended also for non-ferrous metals, such as aluminium. Duration of the protection: - in storage: between 6 and 12 months - in the open, but under a roof that keeps out rain and snow: between 1 and 6 months.
