Synthetic water-miscible coolant
It is a water-miscible coolant, whose solutions are transparent, slightly amber-colored.
It is particularly suitable for mechanical machining for removal, cutting and grinding of ferrous metals and aluminum alloys, included those with low silicon content.
It is totally synthetic, free from mineral and vegetable oil, from Chlorine, Boron and its derivatives, bactericides donors of formaldehyde, secondary amines.
The smell is very moderate and the hygienic-sanitary impact is of maximum tolerability for the operator.
The transparency of the solutions allows full vision of the workpiece. It is very detergent, clean and resistant to the formation of sludge, residues and encrustations.
TORMA BIOCHEM XT solutions are characterized by:
- a specific, proper, high lubricating power, thanks to the strongly polar characteristics of the basic synthetic oil and the contained additives;
- particularly effective detergent power for cleaning both machine tools and grinding wheels;
- high resistance to bacterial and fungal contamination, therefore to the formation of unpleasant odors and annoying mucilages;
- Excellent anti-wear power and E.P. for high quality surface finishes;
- absence of foam;
- strong anti-rust and passivation power of Aluminum alloys;

- good demulsive power, separation of extraneous oil from the guides on the surface of the fluid;
- reduced operating costs: the solution of the water-miscible coolant tends to concentrate during use, requiring low concentration top-ups;
- excellent decanting power of the scrap and grinding dust;
- very low formation of fumes and fogs in process.
The properties shown above allow to obtain a high degree of finish of the machined parts and a particularly significant tool life in a clean and comfortable working environment.
