It is fully synthetic based gear lubricant, designed to meet the most stringent operating requirements differential bridges with hypoidal gears and gearboxes
mechanics with manual control.
The particular and updated performance package used, gives strong antioxidant, anti-wear properties, anti-rust, antifoam, EP (Extreme Pressure),
as well as outstanding thermal stability, excellent protection corrosion and excellent compatibility with synchronizers (also in Molybdenum or bronze) and with seals.
It was formulated in view of the fact that the powers vehicle specifications are greatly increased by when devices such as intercoolers have been used in engines, turbocharger, variable timing, distribution multi-valve, direct injection and electronics.
Such devices have brought an improvement in performance, but also a considerable increase in temperatures of operation, as well as increased mechanical stress transmissions of all vehicles.
The transmissions often have different needs: differentials hypoids, used in rear-wheel drive vehicles, require lubricants with high EP characteristics (API level
GL-5), while manual gearboxes require lubricants with lower EP characteristics (API level GL-4 or lower), but that keep in time the correct coefficient of friction, to safeguard the good functionality of the synchronizers.
CD GEAR OIL SYNT SAE 75W-90 has been specifically formulated to meet the need for a lubricant for gears can meet the needs of both
transmission types.
